Mica Dog Training was formed in 2009 with the goal of providing positive and practical dog training and helping to create better relationships between pets and their owners. Mica Dog looks to achieve this through the use of "Positive and Practical" methods that everyone can use. We focus on building your relationship with your pet and having fun while training, as we believe this is the key to success.
Mica Dog Training's Lead Trainer
Nancy Liebhauser is Mica Dog Training's lead trainer. Nancy is a Canine Good Citizen evaluator and a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT). Nancy continuously seeks out professional development by keeping current on industry literature and attending several dog training and behavior seminars each year. She has attended seminars by top trainers including Pat Miller, Nicole Wilde, Sarah Kalnajs, Roger Abrantes, Leslie McDevitt and Susan Salo. Nancy brings a wealth of experience to Mica Dog Training with her experience in teaching obedience and agility classes, including puppy behavior/socialization.
When not helping clients work with their dogs, Nancy can be found training and teaching tricks to her own pack of dogs, which includes 3 rescue dogs. She has seen how positive training has helped her own dogs and wants to help others achieve their goals as well.
