Mica Dog Training was formed in 2009 with the goal of providing positive and practical dog training and helping to create better relationships between pets and their owners. Mica Dog looks to achieve this through the use of "Positive and Practical" methods that everyone can use. We focus on building your relationship with your pet and having fun while training, as we believe this is the key to success.

Nancy Liebhauser is the founder and lead trainer of Mica Dog Training. Nancy is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers, a Canine Good Citizen evaluator and a professional member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT). Nancy is also an OPERATION SOCIALIZATION Certified Trainer. In addition to certifications, Nancy brings a wealth of hands-on experience to Mica Dog Training. She has 5+ years of experience in teaching obedience and foundation agility classes, including puppy behavior/socialization. Nancy is continuously training her own pack of dogs, which includes several rescue dogs from challenging backgrounds. She also frequently attends seminars and stays up-to-date on the latest dog training and behavior research. Seminars Nancy has attended include,
